Barak, Peter and Mark backstage before the London showcase. Kinda funny that we're eating pizza the day before we go to Italy. Peter standing outside of the showcase venue in London. To be honest the first couple of picutres are from London. I'm aware that this isn't the best way to start the Rome gallery. On the plane to Rome. I took this picture of the Coliseum on the way from the airport to the hotel. A closer shot of the Coliseum. Piaza Bellini. Barak at soundcheck. Mark and David Licursi (tour manager) at dinner before the Rome showcase. Mark digesting his meal. Scott backstage. Mark backstage. The Spanish steps at night. Mark on the Spanish steps during the day. It was unusually cold in Rome during this visit. Mark outside the Coliseum. The sun is setting on the Coliseum. Looking down into the Coliseum from the top row. Pagan Temple Ruins. Musilini used to speak from the balcony of this building. He was also hanged there. Trevis Fountain. You will return to Rome if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the fountain. We all went to a late dinner at a great restaurant. It was my birthday the following day. At midnight the waiter brought me a Tirimisu with a candle and the entire restaurant sang Dave and our waiter at the restaurant. Dave with his morning espresso. Mark with his morning hot chocolate. I'm in Vatican City on my birthday!! The fountain. This is the entrance line for St. Peter's Basilica. A little self-portrait before entering St. Peter's. The ceiling inside the Basilica. Mark in front on the altar. The work of Michael Angelo. Unbelieveable! Outside St. Peter's Basilica. This is all marble. The Vatican is the richest country in the world. The Swiss Guard. The Vatican from a distance. With the exception of my Mom's cooking, Italy is my favourite place to eat. The food is amazing! I eat things in Italy that I would NEVER eat anywhere else. One such example is the fried artichoke heart. The seafood pasta was excellent. Cincotti goin' back to the roots. I thought I'd explore my roots too. Not too sure what to say about Barak in this photo. Ahhhh Rome. Tomato Sauce. This is where the magic begins. After dinner we all went for Gelati. Very tasty. The guys are pickin' their flavours. I already know what I'm gettin'. Chocolate (Hmmm....that sounded kinda weird). This is Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona. A scene actually takes place here in Dan Brown's novel Angels and Demons. Enjoying my dessert by the fountain.
