Les Cathedrale Notre Dame & Le Relais de l'Entrecote

A self portrait of Mark. Note Le Cathedrale Notre Dame in the background. Le Seine. Beautiful and even better from above. Check this out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/absolutwade/191885736/ What? Another self portait of Mark?! How lucky are you to be flipping through this gallery?! Le Cathedrale Notre Dame. Notre Dame de Paris was one of the first Gothic cathedrals, and it's construction spanned the Gothic period. Just trying to get closer to it. This might be a little too close. My neck was starting to hurt. One of these days I'm gonna have to convince someone in the band to come with me on these field trips. Inside Notre Dame. Prayer candles. I wonder who lit this one? The altar. Sorry about the focus. The lighting is very challenging inside Notre Dame. You always see the front of the Notre Dame, but never the side. If you saw this picture, would you guess it was Le Cathedrale Notre Dame? Perhaps not. This is still Le Cathedrale Notre Dame. The architecture is brilliant! Where to next? Perhaps Le Palais de Justice. Hmmm...not too shabby looking. Mark again. The sun is starting to set. You can see the Eiffel Tower off in the distance. Someone was nice enough to stop and take my photograph. Walking towards Chatelet metro station. I love the pictures. Waiting for the train at Chatelet station. I love that they tell you exactly when the train's coming. Very convenient. The next stop was dinner at my favourite restaurant in Paris, Le Relais de l'Entrecote. If you like steak frites, this is the spot. Unfortunately I got to the restaurant 20 minutes before they opened. So I decided to walk and see what I could see. I found a mall called Galeries Lafayette! I didn't go in though. Ahhhhh....Steak frites. This sauce is the best. I decided to top off the evening with some gelato. Chocolate mixed with pistachio. Nice!!
