A self portrait on the plane at the Toronto airport. Mark's shoe. Mark saying goodbye to family and friends before the long flight. Michael Kaeshammer after a 15 hour flight. He looks good! On our way to the hotel. The traffic in Shanghai is brutal. If you can, try to avoid landing there in rush hour. Hmmmm....starting to see some familiar signs. Jackpot!!! Michael and our translator / guide Ricky checking in at the hotel. A self portrait of Mark in the lobby. Can you guess what soft drink this is? How about this one? Michael in the Star Alliance Lounge. Waiting to fly to Shenzhen. Not sure if you can tell from this angle, but this is a big plane. Michael boarding the plane. Ricky at the Shenzhen airport. Ricky and our Tour Manager / Sound man, Richard Knott. Ricky and Mark. Peace from Michael Kaeshammer. Mark's shoe. Back in the car. This time we're driving to Dongguan. The happy passengers. The first poster sighting. This was in the hotel lobby. Very exciting! The lobby was very fancy but you really needed to mind your step. The same can be said about the elevator. I really liked my hotel room. Especially the way the shower looked out into the living room. Luckily we weren't sharing rooms. Michael, Ricky and Richard hangin' out by the pool. Sound check at the first gig. This was at the Dongguan Shipai Cultural Weekend Theatre. A lovely combination of new pianos and really old drums. Attempting to play a solo on something other than a drum. A nice photo with some of the staff after sound check. Hmmmm....I wonder who took this photo? Michael a few minutes before the first concert. Received some beautiful flowers after the show. Beautiful sunrise on our way back to the airport. A very long hallway at the airport dedicated to the 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson. Wish I had a lense large enough to show you the whole thing. It was a beatiful site. A 7-11. Interesting. I wonder if there have slurpies.
